An architecture for digital immortality — a civic hall where personal data is collected, interpreted, and projected, so memory outlives the body.
The Project
What happens to a person’s data when the person is gone? Digital Eternity proposes a civic hall — part archive, part cathedral — where a lifetime of data is stored, interpreted, and staged. An omnidome hosts collective ceremony; projection halls let the departed appear in data-form; intimate rooms let a grandchild meet a grandfather rebuilt from his archive.
The building is paired with storyboards that trace its rituals — baptism into the realm of data, the fitting studio, the reunion — testing how such a place would actually be used, and how it would feel.
